About Knin
Knin stands beneath Dinara, Croatia's highest mountain, below one of the largest fortresses in Europe. The source of the Krka and the 22-metre Krčić waterfall are a few kilometres east of the town, and the turquoise spring of the Cetina — the Eye of the Earth — is around forty minutes away by road.

Frequently Asked Questions
We arrive in Knin by train — can you meet us?
Yes. Give us the train you are on when you book and the driver will be waiting at the station when it pulls in. If the train runs late we simply wait, and you are not charged for it.
How long is the drive from Knin to Split Airport?
About an hour and a half, and much the same to Zadar Airport. Both are fixed-price journeys per vehicle with tolls and luggage included, and for a morning flight we will suggest a departure time that leaves a sensible margin.
Do you do short rides inside Knin?
Usually not. Our cars are based down in the Krka valley, so we come to Knin for a booked journey rather than a five-minute ride across town — a local driver will serve you far better for that. Airports, the coast, the parks and day trips are what we do from here.
Can you drive us to the start of the Dinara hike?
Yes, and we can come back for you at an agreed time. Fix the pick-up before you set off rather than planning to phone from the mountain, because coverage up there is patchy. Tell us roughly how long you expect to be and we will build in a margin.
Is Plitvice Lakes reachable from Knin as a day trip?
Comfortably. The drive is under two hours each way, so a full day at the lakes works well with the driver waiting while you walk. We quote it as one fixed price for the whole day before you book.
