A day trip that is not a group tour
Most “excursions” advertised on the Dalmatian coast are packaged products: a coach, a fixed departure, forty other people, a guide with a raised umbrella and a tight schedule. This is not that. What we sell is simpler and, for a lot of travellers, considerably better — a car, a local driver and his patience for a whole day.
You choose the day and the departure time. We collect you at your accommodation, drive you to each place on the itinerary, and wait while you look around. When you have had enough of a stop, you come back to the car and we move on. When you have had enough of the day, we take you home. There is no group to rejoin, nothing to catch and nobody rushing you back to a bus.
The trade-off is honest: nothing except the driving and the waiting is included. You buy your own national park tickets and boat excursions — at cost, without our margin on top — and there is no licensed guide with you. If you want a guide narrating the history, a group tour genuinely suits you better, and we would rather say so now.

How the day works
The whole point of a private day is that you stop thinking about transport. Here is exactly what happens, so there are no surprises.
We collect you at the door
At the time you choose, from your hotel, apartment or villa in Šibenik, Skradin, Vodice, Primošten, Split, Zadar or Trogir. No meeting point, no walking to a bus stop.
The car is yours alone
A clean, air-conditioned vehicle for your group only. We pick nobody else up along the way and there is no group to keep pace with.
At every stop, the driver waits
He parks and stays with the car while you look around, for as long as you agreed — and you have his number if you want longer. Nothing leaves without you.
Back at your door
Whenever you are ready. If you want to change the plan halfway through the day, just say so — the itinerary is a suggestion, not a contract.
Things you will never have to think about on one of our days: parking, shuttle timetables, which bus goes back, whether the last connection has left, or how far the car park is from the entrance. You will need to buy your own entrance tickets and think about lunch — everything else is the driver's problem, not yours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a guided tour?
No, and we are careful not to pretend otherwise. A day trip with us is a private vehicle, a local driver and waiting time at every stop. There is no licensed guide, no commentary and no group. Your driver knows the area well and is happy to tell you what is worth seeing, but he stays with the car while you explore on your own.
What is included in the price?
The vehicle, the driver for the whole day, waiting at every stop, door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, and all fuel, tolls and parking. Entrance tickets, boat excursions, guiding and food are not included — you buy those yourself, at cost, on the day.
How much does a day trip cost?
We quote each day individually, because the price depends on where we collect you, how far the day runs and how long the driver waits. Send the form on this page with your date and your accommodation and you will get a firm price by e-mail or WhatsApp, usually within a few hours. There is no deposit and no obligation.
How many people can come?
Our standard vehicles take up to four passengers, and the price is per vehicle rather than per person, so a group of four pays the same as a couple. If you are five or more, say so in the form and we will arrange a larger vehicle.
Can we change the plan during the day?
Yes. The itinerary is a suggestion, not a contract. If you want to skip a stop, stay somewhere longer, add a beach or stop for lunch, just tell the driver. The only real limit is daylight.
How far in advance should we book?
In July and August, as early as you can — a week or more is sensible. Outside high season a couple of days is usually enough. It costs nothing to ask, so send the form as soon as you have a date in mind.
