About Drniš
Drniš sits above the Čikola canyon between the coast and the Dinaric hinterland, best known for its air-dried pršut, the ruined fortress above the town and the Meštrović mausoleum at nearby Otavice. The Roški Slap entrance to Krka National Park is a twenty-minute drive away, which makes the stone houses and villas around Drniš an increasingly popular base — and one with almost no public transport.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do short local rides inside Drniš?
Usually not. We work on booked journeys rather than a rank-and-hail service, so for a ride of a couple of kilometres across town a local driver will reach you sooner and charge you less. Anything from the coast run upwards — airports, Šibenik, Split, Zadar, the parks — is exactly what we are here for.
How far is Drniš from Split Airport?
About an hour by road, and roughly an hour and a half to Zadar Airport. Both runs are quoted as a fixed price per vehicle before you book, and we follow your flight — if it lands late, the driver waits.
Can you take us to Krka National Park from Drniš?
Yes, and Drniš is closer to the park than the coastal towns are. Roški Slap is about twenty minutes away, the Skradinski Buk entrance at Lozovac about half an hour. We can wait while you walk the trails and take you home afterwards, or make a full day of it with several stops.
We are staying in a village outside Drniš — will you find us?
Yes. We drive these roads every day and know the villages around Drniš well. Send us a map pin or the address of the house when you book and the driver will come to the door.
How far in advance should we book?
The day before is plenty for most journeys, and the evening before is normal for an early flight. In July and August, book as soon as you know your times. We answer the phone around the clock, so a last-minute call is always worth making.
